Lost Key Golf Club
About
Lost Key Golf Club is conveniently situated equidistant from the historic downtown area of Pensacola and the pristine white sand beaches of Orange Beach and the Gulf Shores. The Arnold Palmer-designed layout was Florida's first golf course to be certified as an Audubon International Silver Signature Sanctuary. It underwent a major renovation in 2006 that included the addition of 2,200 native trees, 13,000 wetland plantings, and the resurfacing of the tees, greens, fairways, and rough. The golf course now presents a formidable test for even the most seasoned golfers. The greens are large and undulating and the flat fairways are lined with trees. There are also doglegs fairways on six holes and sand bunkers on several others. Lost Key Golf Club's signature hole is the par-3 13th hole, which requires a tee shot over water to a partial island green that rolls across dramatic elevation changes.

Approach to No. 9 Green Photo submitted by ShragMagtite on 10/09/2017
Great greens - fairways need turf
Greens are best I’ve seen in the area. Fairways are mostly sand. Some layout snafus where you have to double back to the tee or there’s not a safe place to park your cart- not well thought out from a design perspective.
Play was too slow on front for not being crowded.
Once the slowbirds quit after 9 we were able to play the back 9 in an hour and get done before dark.
Rates are higher than they ought to be for the conditions.
always fun
Lost Key is always a fun course to play. While somewhat challenging, it is a fair test of keeping your ball in play. Must be why the locals call it "Lost Balls"
Wow! We are so happy you enjoyed your round! We look forward to seeing you again soon at Lost Key Golf Club.
Championship Greens
Great staff and amenities. Tough course as always, but the greens were second to none! Pace of play was frustrating as always with the snowbirds. Why they refuse to play ready golf is beyond me. Grill was fantastic too btw!

Water Everywhere
Really nice course at a great price! Would definitely recommend. Not easy if you don’t hit the fairway. Hazards are plentiful.

Lost ball
We enjoyed our golf, but being hackers, we donated a lot of balls. The greens were amazing
Thank you for your kind words! We hope to see you again at the course very soon for another 5-star experience. Thanks for choosing Lost Key Golf Club.
Nice course. Lots of sand.
Great course, but in the off season. I’m sure it’s really nice in its prime time. A little hard to get to if you’re not a member.
