My buddies and I play Glenlakes several times each winter when we stay here in Gulf Shores and enjoy playing the course. The condition is typical for local courses during the winter and I consider the course a good value for the money.

This course was just aerated 5/5 or thereabouts and the course people dumped about a truckload of sand on every green. While they gave a $35 "aeration" green fees it wasn't worth $20. One of the marshals also mentioned that they flooded each nine holes once a week. Unfortunately we had to play on one of those as well. There was no way to putt on this course and the attitude regarding the condition was "so what". The carts bottomed out with no shocks and cart paths that resembled a bad road with a very poor surface. Every time I have played this course something was seriously wrong. I won't play it again.

The Lakes is the easier 9 Holes of the 27 located, the Dunes is the most Challenging and the Vista falls into the middle of the three 9 hole courses.

Fall of 2013, considerable renovatione were made to the Course, under new ownership. They replaced approximately 35,000 sq ft turf on the Greens, built up Sandtraps, added some new Carts with GPS, so you always know the distane to the pin.

The Bunker Cafe was remodeled and has a great Menu and very cold drinks.

If your going to be in the Southern Alabama area, call the Club House for a Tee time and if I happen to be there, I will buy the first round of whatever, you will not be sorry.

    I am predjudice, I am a member....

    Hit em straight......
