Burnt Pine Golf Club is the most revered of Sandestin Resort's four golf course offerings. Rees Jones designed the course and it is a perfect example of why he is such a respected course architect. The front nine wanders through the Emerald Coast's lush pine forests and wetlands while the back nine runs alongside the Choctawhatchee Bay, offering unique and stunning views on each. Rolling fairways and strategically placed bunkers characterize the challenging layout. Water is also a prominent feature, coming into play on 14 holes. The greens are medium in size but they are fast and undulating. Doing well on this golf course requires thoughtful strategy with each hole calling for a different approach. Burnt Pine consistently ranks as one of the best golf courses in Florida.
