Club at Hidden Creek, The
About
The Club at Hidden Creek is one of northwest Florida's most treasured courses. Opened in 1988, it is still relatively young but it has built its reputation on it its well manicured greens and lush landscaping. A few years after opening, a local newspaper ranked it the best golf course in northwest Florida. The course features tree-lined fairways that tumble across scenic rolling terrain. The challenging golf course once served as a host site for the US Open Qualifying Rounds. Water hazards come into play as well as several strategically placed bunkers. Although seasoned golfers are kept on their toes, the layout is more still approachable thank to four different sets of tees. The Club at Hidden Creek has a longstanding reputation amongst the local community and many would consider a visit to the Emerald Coast incomplete without it.

Great Golf Course and staff
I got a Hot Deal from GolfNow at The Club at Hidden Creek. The staff was great, everyone was friendly and helpful. The course was in fantastic condition. The green were smooth and the ball held its line. No course is perfect but this one is chasing perfection and gaining on excellence. I recommend this course and I will definitely play it again.
Course was in great shape, Staff was very friendly.
The staff at Hidden Creek is always so nice. I love this course. The pro shop staff is great. The best staff member of all though is Danielle the Bev cart girl. She is always on her game and takes great care of everybody. I wish I could afford to play here every day.
Best course in this area
I play this course a lot. They really hand find an amazing job maintaining and improving course. Sometimes pave can be a lil frustrating with preferential treatment for members and large groups. Marshall’s can be absent at times with keeping groups pave and a lot of out of rodents with no golf etiquette for letting smaller faster groups play through
Great Course in Navarre
This was a real gem of a golf course...Great fast greens, scenic layout and super reasonable...Only negative was no pre-made food at the turn, but we shouldve called ahead
Back nine shines
Chose to play here while in Pensacola for a business meeting based upon advertisement as best public course in NW Florida. Not sure I would say that, simply because the front nine pales in comparison to the back nine.
Having said that, however, it is still a fun course and I would have no problem steering other players here.
The front nine is just kind of bland with many of the holes running together in my mind. There were some short par 4s that tried to hold my interest, but other than the par-3 7th and the par-5 eighth with its’ reachability in two, strange bulkhead and interesting front pin location in the deep swale at the front of the green (if you can save par when putting to there from upper level I’d like to see it!) it was ho-hum.
Having made the turn, the course comes alive. The holes are much more interesting with a working-man’s TPC Sawgrass or Harbour Town vibe, with long sandy waste areas and exhilarating approach angles to greens that require lofty shots over guarding trees.
I loved one feature that the course employed time and again: fairway cutouts were mowed in in the humps and hollows on several holes. It framed the holes nicely and gave them character.
The greens were very good.
One piece of advice to players coming here for the first time: if you are not deadly straight off the tee with a driver or 3-wood, leave them in the bag on most holes. Trees overhang and crowd many fairways and knock down wayward drives and impede any kind of second shot to the greens. Most of the holes aren’t exceptionally long as well, so a 4-iron to the 150-yard stake is a reasonable strategy.
Complimentary course guide was a nice touch and helped this first timer around.
Awesome greens
The course was in incredible shape. Get ready for greens running true and fast. About a 12. Have fun
Course is in great shape.
Hidden Creek is a nice layout through Pine Woods. It is not your typical Florida course with sand and water. Greens were fast and rolling true. Played the round in 3:45 which was good on a busy Friday afternoon.
Fast greens!
Super fast greens! Great course. Will play it again.
Problem with Golf Now
The golf course was wonderful. I erroneously booked the round for the wrong day (9/14) . I showed up on 9/13 as I intended. I paid again. I was told to call Golf Now for a refund. I couldn’t find a phone number anywhere in the app or online. I attempted to cancel and got an error message each time. Though I had so much fun playing a great course at Hidden Creek , that it was worth double the price but I shouldn’t have had to.
Hidden Creek is a hidden gem!
Excellent course that was enjoyable to play and very affordable! Will come back next time we come back to Pensacola!
Beautiful course
Friendly staff and beautiful course with fast greens. A must if staying in Navarre area.
Great staff. Tough corse. If isn't for th gnats it would have been a perfect day
Great course to play
The. Course is in great shape with nice fairways and fast smooth greens. Fun to play.
Love the course hate the pace of play
This is my favorite course in n w Florida except for the pace of play.
The marshalls don't do a good job of keeping play moving and are offended and even hostile if you complain about it.
Members play Tuesday and Thursday and take most of the desirable tee times. Forget about playing through as it is not going to happen. Members have ruined the day for many walk on players and are too stupid to realize those walk ones help keep the course financially solvent.
The marshalls will not challenge the members who hold themselves in high esteem and are completely void of any
normal golf course etiquette and are actually quite the opposite.
The course is in good shape and the pro shop clerks are super but the marshalls need to grow a pair.
Great course
Course in in great shape , will not find any better greens..It is no wonder this course is a favorite in this area. A must play golf course.
Overall decent course
Good course. Well kept, staff wasn't very friendly minus drink kart girl and greeter at 1st hole they were great! No option to only book 9 holes. Have to pay for 18 and it's pretty expensive. The course itself was in great condition though.
My passion
I grew up loving golf I was very fortunate to be able to play with my dad up to two weeks before he died on the golf course with my son it was amazing my back is so shot right now that I went out there today and could only play 12 holes and had to leave the golf course I think this might be my final round of golf ever I'm 61 years old and my back is fried but my passion is so strong that I wanted to go out today and play and right now I'm very sad because I don't think I'll ever be able to play golf again and it kills me
