Nola’s finest
Fun little course. Good place to feel good about your game, greens could use some work. But a beautiful place right down town.
Average Municipal Course
Audubon is a short municipal course with difficult maintenance issues resulting from touch weather conditions. Several of the tee boxes have practice mats where the turf has worn out. The greens are average. Overall, it’s an attractive layout with some fun holes.
Audubon greens
Greens are in bad shape. Putting is like putting on cement.
In bad shape
I play here about 15 times a year
It’s bad right now but will get better
Since it was only $22
It’s what I expected since I red reviews before I went
Golfing in the park!
After 5 weeks off from golf, this was a great first round of the year course. It's been a while since I played here but it was carts on path, and I can't recall if it's always that or not. There were some areas that were wet. The round, as a single, still went plenty fast (hitting a few extra shots). The conditions of the course were fair due to the winter and just the weather for this time of the year. Playing it from the back and having 2 Par 3's over 200 yards makes this a challenging course. I played up on one of them, and on the last had to hit a 5 wood into 17. Love this course and the scenery of the park/exercisers.
The course is not in good shape now. It used to be really nice
Greens are destroyed
This was such an upsetting round. The greens are literally all mud. There is basically no grass on any of them. They need to shut the course down and redo the greens. No warning when booking that the course has been ruined. We live a quarter mile from the course so it’s like a family member to us. Hopefully they have the resources to fix this
In rough shape
Conditions just seem to be getting progressively worse, and it seems like a slap in the face to golfers as big bucks are being spent to upgrade the Clubhouse. Greens are completely devoid of grass, and traps devoid of sand, in some cases just concrete and a pool of murky water, maybe some dirt. It hasn't always been this way, and it's a nice, fun place to play when the conditions are good. But this is getting pathetic.
Great short course
Par 62. Played in less than 3 hours. Fine pace for a foursome. Course in nice shape.
Ice day
We had 3 players and moved a little slow behind a few groups, but had a nice time. Sandtraps need work but greens and fairways are very nice.
IN City Golf
Played during Thanksgiving holidays. Play pace adequate, but crowded. Matched me uo with great guys. For a city courdr, this is ideal. From the black tees quite, quite challenging.
Will definitely play again. Staff very accommodating.

Did a golf trip to New Orleans. Learned on the way that the south has been experiencing a drought… and it showed. To be fair I am not going to rate or comment on the course conditions. Instead, given the rest of my experience I am choosing to assume that with some rain the course conditions would be fantastic, and I do look forward to returning one day to find out.
Things I Liked
- What a fantastic, unique setting! This course is in the middle of a city park and there’ll be people walking, jogging, bicycling, and/or walking their dogs all right off to the side of a hole.
- It’s a par 62, and they say “12 par 3s, 4 par 4s, and 2 par 5s.” However, IMO the par 5s are just long par 4s, which is fine because they’re still a lot of fun. I would consider this a par 60 course.
- As a par 62, this is NOT a pitch and putt. The par 3s are all demanding and require high quality shots to score. The bunkers on this course are well placed.
- The greens were in good shape.
- Very friendly and helpful staff.
Things I Did Not Like
- Non-resident rates. Though I would rather pay the course directly, that level of mark-up led to me retreat and purchase an online deal.
- The bunkers are well placed. The bunkers were not well maintained.
- There didn’t seem to be any management of pace of place. That would’ve been appreciated on the front 9 on this day.
Thing Important to Me
- Very walkable. In fact, skip the cart and enjoy this stroll through the park.
- Cool branded ball marker.
