Grand Bear on the Mississippi coast is one of the Golden Bear's most enjoyable golf courses

SAUCIER, Miss. -- Grand Bear Golf Course, a semiprivate golf course that also serves as an aminity Harrah's Gulf Coast Casino Hotel & Spa, is simply one of the most enjoyable Jack Nicklaus designs you'll ever play.

The fairways are generous, the greens are beautifully sculpted and the bunkering, while not easy, frames the holes well. Plus, it's carved out of natural forest and wetlands that give each hole a unique and memorable look. The course can play as long as 7,224 yards or as short as 4,802 yards from the Teddy Bear tees, perfect for juniors or shorter hitters.
